Educational quality is assessed not only at the national level but also through international standards to determine the competitiveness of an education system. International assessment systems such as PISA, PIRLS, TIMSS, TALIS, and ICILS serve as important instruments for measuring students’ competencies, including reading literacy, numeracy, science, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and digital literacy. This study aims to analyze the role of international assessment systems in modern pedagogy and their implementation in improving educational quality in Uzbekistan.
